Leica Camera is pleased to announce a special edition of its full-frame mirrorless Leica Q camera, the Leica Q Khaki. Featuring a silver-anodized body wrapped in a premium khaki-colored leather trim, the Leica Q Khaki is reminiscent of the classic Leica M Safari models with its khaki-colored silk screen lettering of the classic Leica script on the top plate and color-matched carrying strap.
The special edition of the Leica Q Khaki is limited to 495 units worldwide.
The technical specifications of the Leica Q Khaki are identical to those of the standard model of the Leica Q. Thanks to its particularly fast Leica Summilux 28mm f 1.7 ASPH lens, the camera is perfect for photography in any available light situations, for street photography, architecture and landscapes. To allow reliable control of subject composition, the Leica Q also features an integrated viewfinder with a resolution of 3.68 MP. Even the finest details of every exposure are displayed without any perceptible lag as soon as the camera is brought up to the user’s eye.

The Leica Q’s wide aperture and built-in Optical Image Stabilization offer exceptional imaging quality in any lighting situations. The camera’s autofocus also functions in real time and is the fastest in the compact full-frame camera category. With a newly developed processor from Leica Maestro II series, data arriving from the sensor is processed at enormous speed. This allows the user to shoot continuously at a rate of ten frames per second at full resolution, much faster than all other comparable cameras.LEICA Q – DIGITAL FRAME SELECTOR
The digital frame selector of the Leica Q expands your creative scope. In addition to 28 mm at full resolution, this function also offers focal lengths of 35 and 50 mm. The advantage – you can still see what is going on outside of the bright-line frame and have the ability to react more rapidly to changes in and around the scene in the same way as with the a rangefinder camera.
